Mountain & Snow Wallpapers for TV — 16:9

10 images of Mountain & Snow Wallpapers for TV (16:9) in high resolution. Free download, with the author and licence of every picture.

A television is viewed from across the room, which changes the rules: fine detail disappears, contrast becomes aggressive and anything busy turns into a shimmer. The images on this page were chosen for large shapes, generous empty space and a palette that stays readable from three metres away, which is exactly what a TV background needs.

This page gathers 10 images from the Mountain & Snow Wallpapers collection, chosen because they are composed in portrait, the orientation the TV screen uses (16:9). Every one of them is taller than it is wide, so the system crops almost nothing when it fills the screen.

The full files run from 1920 × 1009 to 1920 × 1081 pixels, and every card states the exact ratio of its own picture so you can check the framing before downloading. Your TV runs at 3840 × 2160 pixels, so a larger file is scaled down with no visible loss.

The list includes, among others, Winter auf dem Melpertser Rasenberg, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route - AlpineRoute6316, Karula vaade, Winter Forest.

The images are ordered by how recently they were added rather than by popularity, which keeps the collection fresh and gives every single entry a chance to be discovered by search engines and by image browsers.

Every picture below was checked for resolution, framing and compression artefacts before it was published, so what you download is the version you saw in the thumbnail. Open any card to see the full metadata, the licence and the download link.
