Bengal tiger looking at the camera — Tiger Wallpaper Full HD

This is Bengal tiger looking at the camera, a dramatic tiger wallpaper built around olive and slate tones. The frame is composed for 4:3, which is why it reads well on desktop without pushing the subject out of shot.

Everything you can see is part of the original file: 1920 × 1280 pixels in JPG (803 KB). Nothing is upscaled, and the colours were sampled straight from the picture, so what you download is what you saw in the grid.

The palette leans towards olive and slate, and that makes it easy to build an interface around it. A wildlife documentary title card works particularly well here, because the tones never fight with whatever you put in front of them.

Setting it up

To use it, download the file, open it on your device and choose the option to set it as the background. If your system crops the edges, use the 4:3 version from the collection or turn the zoom off so the full frame stays visible.

How to make the most of it

• If you use it on a laptop, dim the desktop icons slightly; a busy wallpaper competes with small text more than with large text.
• Pair it with a low-contrast wallpaper on your phone so that app icons remain readable over the busiest part of the image.
• Pair it with a system accent colour that matches olive and slate so the wallpaper and the interface read as one design instead of two.

What you get

The download is a 1920 × 1280 JPG image in 4:3 ratio (803 KB). Use it on a desktop, print it at up to 16 × 9 in, or crop it for a post: the source resolution gives you room to crop without losing quality.
