Clouds and blue sky in Russia. IMG 024 blue wallpaper Full HD

This is Clouds and blue sky in Russia. IMG 024, a cold blue wallpaper built around sage green and steel blue tones. The frame is composed for 4:3, which is why it reads well on phone without pushing the subject out of shot.

Everything you can see is part of the original file: 1920 × 1277 pixels in JPG (257 KB). Nothing is upscaled, and the colours were sampled straight from the picture, so what you download is what you saw in the grid.

The palette leans towards sage green and steel blue, and that makes it easy to build an interface around it. A blue-themed interface works particularly well here, because the tones never fight with whatever you put in front of them.

Setting it up

To use it, download the file, open it on your device and choose the option to set it as the background. If your system crops the edges, use the 4:3 version from the collection or turn the zoom off so the full frame stays visible.

Styling tips

• On a phone, place the subject in the upper half so your clock and notification stack do not cover the focal point.
• Pair it with a system accent colour that matches sage green and steel blue so the wallpaper and the interface read as one design instead of two.
• Add it as a calendar or task widget background if your device allows it, so the picture carries a reminder as well.

Download options

You get a 1920 × 1277 JPG file (4:3, 257 KB). It is large enough for a phone screen and for printing up to 16 × 9 in, and it is compressed for the web so that it still loads quickly on a mobile connection.
