Grand’Anse2011 ocean beach wallpaper Full HD

This is Grand’Anse2011, a dramatic ocean beach wallpaper built around steel blue and lavender tones. The frame is composed for 4:3, which is why it reads well on print without pushing the subject out of shot.

Everything you can see is part of the original file: 1620 × 1080 pixels in JPG (350 KB). Nothing is upscaled, and the colours were sampled straight from the picture, so what you download is what you saw in the grid.

The palette leans towards steel blue and lavender, and that makes it easy to build an interface around it. A travel album cover works particularly well here, because the tones never fight with whatever you put in front of them.

Where it fits best

To use it, download the file, open it on your device and choose the option to set it as the background. If your system crops the edges, use the 4:3 version from the collection or turn the zoom off so the full frame stays visible.

How to make the most of it

• Pair it with a low-contrast wallpaper on your phone so that app icons remain readable over the busiest part of the image.
• If you use it on a laptop, dim the desktop icons slightly; a busy wallpaper competes with small text more than with large text.
• Pair it with a system accent colour that matches steel blue and lavender so the wallpaper and the interface read as one design instead of two.

Download and resize

You get a 1620 × 1080 JPG file (4:3, 350 KB). It is large enough for a print screen and for printing up to 20 × 30 cm, and it is compressed for the web so that it still loads quickly on a mobile connection.
