Shiny Black and White, Kiev, Ukraine 10 black and white wallpaper Full HD

This is Shiny Black and White, Kiev, Ukraine 10, a dramatic black and white wallpaper built around lavender and cream tones. The frame is composed for 4:3, which is why it reads well on tablet without pushing the subject out of shot.

Everything you can see is part of the original file: 1920 × 1280 pixels in JPG (443 KB). Nothing is upscaled, and the colours were sampled straight from the picture, so what you download is what you saw in the grid.

The palette leans towards lavender and cream, and that makes it easy to build an interface around it. A desktop where icons must stay readable works particularly well here, because the tones never fight with whatever you put in front of them.

Where it fits best

To use it, download the file, open it on your device and choose the option to set it as the background. If your system crops the edges, use the 4:3 version from the collection or turn the zoom off so the full frame stays visible.

Styling tips

• Pair it with a system accent colour that matches lavender and cream so the wallpaper and the interface read as one design instead of two.
• Print it on matte paper: the lavender and cream tones stay clean, while glossy paper exaggerates the highlights and washes the darks out.
• Pair it with a low-contrast wallpaper on your phone so that app icons remain readable over the busiest part of the image.

What you get

The download is a 1920 × 1280 JPG image in 4:3 ratio (443 KB). Use it on a tablet, print it at up to 20 × 30 cm, or crop it for a post: the source resolution gives you room to crop without losing quality.
