Snowy Scooters — Christmas Wallpaper Full HD

This is Snowy Scooters, a mysterious christmas wallpaper built around sand and sage green tones. The frame is composed for 16:9, which is why it reads well on phone without pushing the subject out of shot.

Everything you can see is part of the original file: 1920 × 1080 pixels in JPG (727 KB). Nothing is upscaled, and the colours were sampled straight from the picture, so what you download is what you saw in the grid.

The palette leans towards sand and sage green, and that makes it easy to build an interface around it. A December lock screen works particularly well here, because the tones never fight with whatever you put in front of them.

How to use it

To use it, download the file, open it on your device and choose the option to set it as the background. If your system crops the edges, use the 16:9 version from the collection or turn the zoom off so the full frame stays visible.

Styling tips

• If you use it on a laptop, dim the desktop icons slightly; a busy wallpaper competes with small text more than with large text.
• Print it on matte paper: the sand and sage green tones stay clean, while glossy paper exaggerates the highlights and washes the darks out.
• Add it as a calendar or task widget background if your device allows it, so the picture carries a reminder as well.

What you get

You get a 1920 × 1080 JPG file (16:9, 727 KB). It is large enough for a phone screen and for printing up to 8 × 10 in, and it is compressed for the web so that it still loads quickly on a mobile connection.
