Pinterest Wallpapers for Tablet — 16:10

6 images of Pinterest Wallpapers for Tablet (16:10) in high resolution. Free download, with the author and licence of every picture.

A tablet is usually propped up on a desk and looked at from a distance, which is a very different viewing condition from a phone held in the hand. The pictures on this page hold their detail at that distance, with large shapes and a clear subject instead of fine texture that disappears. They also stay calm enough to work next to, which is the part most wallpaper collections forget.

This page gathers 6 images from the Pinterest Wallpapers collection, chosen because they are composed in portrait, the orientation the Tablet screen uses (16:10). Every one of them is taller than it is wide, so the system crops almost nothing when it fills the screen.

The full files run from 1600 × 2396 to 1920 × 2910 pixels, and every card states the exact ratio of its own picture so you can check the framing before downloading. Your Tablet runs at 1600 × 2560 pixels, so a larger file is scaled down with no visible loss.

The list includes, among others, Prang's Valentine Cards2, Haeckel Discomedusae 8, Haeckel Actiniae, Francesco Hayez 008.

All of the files are served from our own domain, which means they load fast, they can be indexed by Google Images and Bing Images, and they stay available even if the original source moves the file.

The images are ordered by how recently they were added rather than by popularity, which keeps the collection fresh and gives every single entry a chance to be discovered by search engines and by image browsers.
