Space Shuttle Discovery under a full moon moon wallpaper Full HD

This is Space Shuttle Discovery under a full moon, a calm moon wallpaper built around near-black and near-black tones. The frame is composed for 4:5, which is why it reads well on phone without pushing the subject out of shot.

Everything you can see is part of the original file: 1875 × 2339 pixels in JPG (338 KB). Nothing is upscaled, and the colours were sampled straight from the picture, so what you download is what you saw in the grid.

The palette leans towards near-black and near-black, and that makes it easy to build an interface around it. A night-mode wallpaper works particularly well here, because the tones never fight with whatever you put in front of them.

Where it fits best

To use it, download the file, open it on your device and choose the option to set it as the background. If your system crops the edges, use the 4:5 version from the collection or turn the zoom off so the full frame stays visible.

How to make the most of it

• Pair it with a low-contrast wallpaper on your phone so that app icons remain readable over the busiest part of the image.
• Pair it with a system accent colour that matches near-black and near-black so the wallpaper and the interface read as one design instead of two.
• In a video call, this works well as a virtual background if you keep the subject clear of the frame edges.

Download options

You get a 1875 × 2339 JPG file (4:5, 338 KB). It is large enough for a phone screen and for printing up to A3 (297 × 420 mm), and it is compressed for the web so that it still loads quickly on a mobile connection.
